Ace (Jason) and Annie chose to elope today in Battle Creek, MI with their closest loved ones including their children Bailey and William. I am totally fascinated by their connection. If you cannot see it in these photos consult your optometrist. So honored to have been able to share in this moment with them.
A little cactus needle itching aside I think we still managed to pull off beautiful photos for the De La Cruz family again! <3 Thank you for coming back year after year. <3
Pete and Cady were such a pleasure to photograph! It was a perfect fall day in South Bend. We had just a little while before the park closed but were able to capture all of these amazing images. I used natural and artificial light throughout the session.
*Please reference PC2018 if you'd like this style of editing and lighting for your session as well.
Colin + Cassie: A Notre Dame Stadium Experience
Colin + Cassie had their first experience with a professional photographer. I was so honored. It was a first for me as well. See Colin + Cassie decided to rent the Notre Dame Football Stadium for their Engagement Session!! We had so much fun. I share with you the entire album. I couldn't limit the delivery of these photos. There are some I'll admit I wouldn't normally deliver but this was a milestone for us all and I wanted to let them hold onto all of those precious moments/memories.
Dillon and Casey shared their vows with their dear family and friends on a beautiful July day in Bremen, IN. I was honored to second shoot along side Melissa Clark for their wedding. The images I share with you today were captured and edited by me. Enjoy! <3
I captured my first wedding at Stonegate Manor this year. The location is so picturesque. I highly recommend the location to all couples on the search for that perfect location. Also, who has ever seen a cupcake truck?! Mimi serves up delicious frosted cakes. You can find Mimi's Cupcakes in St. Joseph, Mi. Thanks again to Pat, Aine, and Prudy. <3
As of June 1, 2018, TK Imagery has been dissolved. Here-fourth all works posted will be shot solely by Katie Nixon. Second shooters will be obtained when requested through a local trusted photographer community.
Dainty Dande came to me while driving back to Lancaster, PA from Dover, DE. A single pappus, dandelion seed, dropped through my sunroof and caught my attention. I was always a lover of dandelions. So delicate and beautiful, much like a bride on her wedding day. Dainty means delicate. The goals I achieved earlier in the year helped me finally find where I want to take my editing style. I, from this day forward, will bring you rich in color yet light and airy editing techniques.
Thank you for standing behind me in this transition and continuing to choose Dainty Dande Portraiture for all of your photography needs.
